Beware of this rip-off practice from Rogers with overage charges! Check your Internet usage regularly and if you ever think that it does not seem right, contact Rogers to figure out what is going on with their usage counters!
Here is a complaint from one of the Rogers High-Speed Internet Customers who was charged by Rogers for over usage of internet download/upload limit because their own usage counters were broken.
Bell is an ongoing nightmare with me, even though I have cancelled them since July. Here’s the entire story. I cancelled them on June the 30th for my home phone and internet. They told me that after a month, all the services would be cut off. WRONG!
Trueler has received complaint on World Wide Connect Calling Cards (http://www.world-wide-calling.com) purchased on one of the daily deal websites – DealTicker.com
Initial investigation showed that it is a fresh website created for featuring on daily deal websites, and itself is very suspicious. As a potential customer I would never buy any services from them and as a daily deal site (if I were one of them) I would definitely NOT advertise World Wide Connect Calling Cards.
Here is a serious complaint on Best Russian TV services received by one of the customers. It includes false advertisement and promo actions, money grab, and terrible customer service. Nothing could be resolved with BestRussianTV Support Team.
The offer makes you think that it should be inexpensive deal: “affordable price”, “a few calls a week or a few calls a month”, “plans starting at only $15 a month”. In reality it shows $30 a month plus $200 at the time of purchase…

Do not let the customer service representative go, do not release him or her until your problem resolved! This is their job: make problems, then resolve problems. It is Bell’s choice! There is a law “Statement of Consumer Rights”, which applies to your local home telephone services. It states that if there were any billing errors that caused additional charges (i.e. overbilled), customer has a right for refund during one year for recurring services and 150 days for non-recurring.
Bell Canada added two extra features with additional fees to the Home Phone Choice service plan without customer’s consent. Those features are Phone Care and Wire Care maintenance plans, giving additional fees of $13.90 CAD + taxes. Customer tried to escalate the complaint to Bell, but Bell did not admit that it was an error from their side. Beware of this practice in Bell Canada, and regularly check your bills for new or increased charges and fees. In case of any discrepancy contact Bell directly, or CRTC to complain and get your issue resolved.
