Trueler has received a complaint on questionable plumbing services aggregator called “Plumber Real Way Newmarket” and their sub-contractor called “Wellington Mechanical” with Jamie Thomas as a representative.

When called at 647-490-2388, Plumber Real Way Newmarket advised that contractor would arrive, diagnose the problem, provide estimate to fix the issue and proceed if customer agrees. They advised that it’s an average market cost, e.g., diagnosis is $70 plus work cost after estimation is provided and approved by customer.

Wellington mechanical arrived and started work. They did not inform customer when diagnostic was finished and did not advise on the cost to fix the issue. Asked for $650 cash after job was done. It was about half an hour drain snake job to remove some roots. Looks overpriced. They were also insisting on doing $10K drainpipe replacement in the concrete floor to avoid the same issue every couple month.

The biggest issue is that no invoice and no receipt were provided, even after multiple inquires at Jamie’s phone number: 437-755-1990. Initially they promised to send it next day, then stopped responding at all. Plumber Real Way Newmarket did not respond to such inquiry too.
